I wonder if ... you're lonesome tonight? You know some one said the world's a stage ... Naugh, anyway y'all, I have a printed version of "the chronological bible," quite a huge work, and am wonderfing if it is, or ever was, on the wish list? I am considering attempting the scan of it, but some advice is welcome. It is one of those soft cover books, with phone-book-looking thin pages, is definitely "broken in" by it's original reader, so how would you experienced scanner people handle such a work? The thin pages make it likely that during the turning of them, I'll get 2 instead of 1, so how would you make sure only one page was turned consistantly? My scanner can handle 2 pages at a time, should I do it that way? It would cut in half the scanning time, obviously, but would that introduce more problems than it would solve? I did scan successfully "Jitterbug" that way, with very few initial errors, so am inclined in that direction however, I will listen to any and all advice. Any and all advice is welcome. I have an Epson 1650 scanner, K1000 v11.02, and elbow greace, (good thing eh), so am ready to take it on. What preparations would you have, and all other mechanations you can describe of what you would do to begin will be welcome. I've actually been scanning, (for my own use) since 1992, but that doesn't mean I've ever really attempted such an important work before, so again, any and all advice is welcome. So now, the stage is bare, and I'm standing there, with emptiness all around, and ... naugh, too weird, however my mind does go down rabit trails like that, at least my wife, Karen, tells me that all the time. :) Thank you!
