Sorry, I guess that wasn't clear. I downloaded the one on the Step One download page, but then I uploaded the one I had fixed up.
It's not on that page any longer.
I downloaded it on Tuesday, the 7th, and uploaded it on Sunday evening, the 12th, so that can't be the reason.

Hopefully you also downloaded the one that's back on page one and rejected it as a duplicate.
I know of no way to check to make sure that the validated book was uploaded except to keep checking the collection to see if it's there and/or wait for for the acceptance notice you'll get in your mail. The book could sit in the awaiting administrator approval queue for a while, but it probably won't. Recently uploaded books seem to be getting approved quickly, while others from November and September and e3ven, if She;;ey;s is still sitting there, June, are not.
The only explanation I can think of for the original being back on the donwload list is that you forgot to renew it at one point and so it automatically went onto the download list again after seven days.

Ok, I just uploaded the book I edited again - not the one on the Step One download page. How do I make sure it got up there this time. I seem to recall something somewhere on the site about checking to make sure the book was uploaded, but I don't remember where.
This is rather irritating. It told me that the book was approved and pending administrator approval, it would be published, but that's what it said the last time.
By the way, I was wrong about the accuracy rating: It wasn't 99.6 percent, but 99.96 percent. My mnemory failed me. <smile> Now if only that version gets published ....
