Hi all:
I just wanted to let you all know I'm still here. My computer crashed last
weekend when I was at my dad's house, and I didn't have any software to fix
it. Right now I'm back in Ohio and working on getting my new computer back
up and running. I lost all of my books I was validating o when I get my new
computer up and running hopefully later today I'll see if they are still
there. I didn't lose anything this time, thank goodness for external hard
drives! If anyone has emailed me privately I'll get to your messages,
eventually. Feel free to email me again, however.

Hi Mike,
Ah, good point that. I'm sure MS Word doesn't count that type of data in its word count feature.
Although, why would you want a return character in the short synopsis? It's so short it should appear altogether. In fact I doubt the BookShare system obeys those in this field.
Definitely need to get single returns recognized in the long synopsis when making v2.0. So many more synopsis would display in a much better format.

Jake
From what I've observed, anything beyond 195 or so characters may trigger
an error msg with the short synopsis.
This may be due to line feeds or carridge returns which are or are not
included at either end which might make the character counts slightly off.
