Thanks, Mayrie. Actually I am very interested in learning to do as much as
possible on my own, but this crash required much more expertise than I have.
It took two experts--one for computers in general and one for screen reader
knowledge to get me up and running. I really need a new computer, and want to
buy one soon. (smile)

It's great that you're back with us proofreading! I hope all goes well for
you. I think computer problems are for me what car problems are for a lot of
people. I rarely know how to solve them myself, or really want to know. I
just want things to work without hitches, and the hitches never come at a good
time. I hope getting your computer problem fixed wasn't too traumatic, or that
you're more gracious about dealing with computer problems than I am. I'll bet
you are much more patient and persevering than I am. Happy proofreading!
