Gary, This is more end of line hyphens such as (hav-ing) (Washing-ton). -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gary Petraccaro Sent: Saturday, August 13, 2005 8:57 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Hyphens in documents I have discussed this with K1000. It appears to be the case only rarely, and only in those words which are compound words such as twelve-year-old where, if it has a line end after twelve, you might find twelveyear-old. It would show up in the rank spelling feature in any case and searching that would take considerably less time than correcting that many hyphens. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 13, 2005 10:20 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Hyphens in documents > Gary's response to you is probably better than the one > I'm going to give you, but might it not eliminate > hyphens in words that should be hyphenated?
