My thought on this is that it isn't all that bad except that it makes
for mispronunciation of words which sometimes makes it hard to
understand what the words are supposed to be.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Hyphenated Theology; is there a problem?

Going through the digests I was baffled, or at least curious, about a
discussin re hyphenated words that revolved around "a book on
theology"
being worked on by "Cat Lover Lori."
My "short question" is simply: Are end-of-line hyphens all that bad?
Is
there a short answer?

I've validated a few books, largely relying on K1000, but MS Word
seems to
work better with the clipboard and that strange condition where RTF
files
need an extra space.

So, is there a short answer, before my question gets any longer? Many
thanks.
