If only a few dates have entries, you could handle it like a picture description

[Proofer's note: This page has a calendar on it for the month of September 1999. The dates with events on them are the 2nd: Wash the car, the 19th: Brother's Birthday Party, and the 30th: Scan book for bookshare.]

If the calendar has lots of entries a table would be easiest to navigate, but of course, much harder for you to set up.

Hi Em,
I think either way would be fine, whichever is easier for you to create. Preferences will vary amongst readers, but the tools can handle either manner of representation. So, do what works best for you.
Thanks for asking!

Hi all,

In the book I'm currently working on, there are a few calendars with events written on the dates. What is the best way to include these? Should I create it as a table, with a cell for each day? Or would a list of the dates be easier for the tools to read?

Thanks,
Em
