I've gone through that glaucoma stuff. I remember having a glaucoma
attack while alone in an apartment with a six-year-old-girl. I was lying
on the couch in utter agony and the little girl was on the floor
playing. She was only making normal kid noises, but in my condition it
was like she was torturing me on top of the torture I was already going
through. I started saying, "Kristy, please be quiet. I'm dying." Finally
I got up and left the room going around a corner and laid face down in a
hallway. A few minutes later I heard her footsteps behind me and then I
heard the footsteps retreat. Then I heard her crying from the room I had
just left. SO I got up and went around the corner again and asked,
"Kristy, what is wrong anyway?" She tearfully looked at me and said, "I
thought you died!" Despite the excruciating pain in my head I had to
laugh at that one.

BookLady with no spaces is Jennifer Dunham. I know she travels
some with her job, but she usually answers me within three days. She and I have been doing antiquarian series like the original old
style (not revised) Nancy Drew and now we are starting on the Judy
Bolton Mysteries.
I do think Louise, RIP, was Book Lady with a space, but Sue would
probably know better than me.
Miss being around, but I was recently diagnosed with glaucoma and
have been having pretty nasty headaches, limiting my email
computer time until we figure out best supports.

Hi Cindy,
I don't have an email address or name for Book Lady. I just did
what any volunteer can do, and looked to see how recently she's
submitted any books by using her nickname and the book's metadata
page on Bookshare. smile. Gail's best bet is to email her again,
and if she doesn't get a response to ask Bookshare staff, by
emailing volunteer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
<mailto:volunteer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>, for some help in contacting
Book Lady.
