Hi Lori!

It isn't required, but many of us remove those headers altogether. I'm pretty sure that if they are all uniform, even to the number of spaces between words, the infamous stripper is supposed to remove them. If they aren't exactly uniform, then some, at least, will be left. I personally, just remove all of them. If you feel like removing them, you can do that by moving page by page and cutting that particular group of words. Be sure, however, to leave page numbers, if they exist on the same line as the headers. You can also use the find and replace dialog to remove headers, but inevitably have to do it more than once. If you need help using the find and replace dialog, just ask. I'll be happy to help, and I'm sure, so will many others.

I hope some of this has been helpful.

Peace,
Mayrie

Hi all,

I'm working on a book that has the title at the top of one page and then the author's name on the alternate pages. How imperative is it that the headers be precise and spelled correctly?
