Hi, Jamie. For me, I have a Braille Lite, and I use that for reading. That's a notetaker. I also have a laptop, though, so if I didn't have a notetaker, I could use my laptop, but I have a hearing impairment, so I do a lot better with extended periods of reading if I do it in braille. Take care. -- Julie Morales Email & Windows/MSN Messenger: mercy421@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.youravon.com/juliemorales Currently in Winchester Regional, Virginia Overcast, Mist 50F°(10C°) Wind:Calm Sad to think that when the letters 'WWF' are mentioned, most of us think of wrestlers, before the World Wildlife Fund... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jamie Yates" <jamieyates@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 29, 2006 10:26 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: A Christmas Guest - Anne Perry I guess perhaps I am just too naive. They could get a subscription earned by validating. I know it takes a long time at 50 cents each but sheesh I have $8 in my account and I've barely done anything! And I don't need the $8 in my account either. Though you never know when you may need something like Bookshare. I would miss being able to curl up under a warm blanket and read though. Do y'all have to read at your computers or notetakers?
