You can read books in the web reader on a laptop. You can also use any of
various DAISY players. FSReader is free to anybody who owns JAWS; I'm not
sure about obtaining it otherwise.

Hey Guys,
I read all my Bookshare books on my Pac Mate, so I always get the brf files.
I want to take a look at a book on my laptop, but I have no idea as to how
to do that. I presume I need the Daisy Text version, but what do I need to
open it? I know how to do this on my Book Sense, which has built in software
for reading Bookshare books. Do I need to install something to read them on
my PC?
