True. It was just a thought and since I started doubting it as I was typing I should have refrained from sending it. If one person has a question, chances are that more than one person wants to know the answer to that question. What you suggest would not allow for everyone to benefit from the list. Here is another thought. It is just a thought and as I start to type it I find myself feeling like it might not be the best idea at all. Anyway, The Stream users list is configured such that if one replies to a message it will automatically be sent privately. One has to make a special effort to send it to the entire list. I wonder if that might be a possibility for this list. "The end may justify the means as long as there is something that justifies the end. However, here's how I handled the situation until Lynn's message a few minutes ago. I'm assuming you are using outlook express. First, I would do a control f to forward the message. Then, arrow down until you get into the message you want to reply to. There will be a line that says "> from:" followed by the person's email address. Copy that address to the clipboard. Arrow back up to the place where you indicate the person you want to send the message to, and paste the email address you extracted earlier. Now tab until you get into the message proper, and type your message. Hit send and, poof, it's done. Hope this helps. Does anyone know the window eyes key to use for this command. I looked under the message menu for such a command, but I could not find a way to reply only to the person who initiates the message. Thanks. Hi Everyone! Until yesterday, I'd never heard of the insert-plus-shift-plus-r JAWS keystroke to enable one to reply just to the sender of a message instead of the entire list. It works very well for me. If many of us use it, it should substantially reduce the amount of messages on this list but enable us to have conversations with one another. *smile* Blessings.
