I agree with you Nimit, and I do that, too--even after all these
years. It definitely is safer than the global replace which I did once
or twice--very carefully-- for a book that had been returned to the
download list that I really didn't want to read. If we're proofing by
reading, deleting the paragraph symbols as we go along doesn't take
that much more time; and if we forget to replace with a space
occasionally the final spell-check will catch the two words joined
that shouldn't be.
