It doesn't sound like the problem you experienced was at all caused by
something you did. It sounds like a total malfunction to me. I would
send your destroyed book file to Kurzweil support as an attachment, and
ask them to look it over. Give them any details you can about the
settings you used and what you did. The E-mail address to use is
