    I'm using an optacon to check the print copy of the book I'm
validating--the one  with sidebars that I was griping about a few days ago.
It turns out there is not a sidebar on every page, but plenty of other
scanos and junk chars to deal with. I finally tired of bothering sighted
family members, and pulled out the trusty optacon. G!
