Sue,

I wouldn't worry about not having ranked spelling. The person who submitted
your book and the person who submitted my two books both had it, and neither
of them noticed the problem with spaces in the middle of words.

Oh,, it is the same author! If I entered another name I goofed. And I
remember now that it was he who submitted this one.. So I wonder who
submitted first?

It seems you are very helpful Gerald. Maybe I should compare the two since
he worked so hard on it. I only have MS word though and it doesn't have
rank spelling. <big sigh>

Sue,

I got this from the archived messages on www.freelists.org. It may or may
not be your book since it has a different author than the one you mentioned,
but it's a recent post.

list end
Hi ng,

I just submitted Half a Life by V. S. Naipaul. After I cleaned it up I think
it is almost without flaws. It wasn't easy either because I seem to be
getting
a lot of garbage at the end of many pages which I had to get rid of. Has
anybody else had this problem? I have tried different settings in k1000 but
nothing
seems to help. Maybe it's my scanner.
Anyway this was a very interesting book about India and it's customs.
Happy validating.

If there are any admin people on the list today, got a problem with this
book. I cannot remember who submitted thhe copy I got from Step 1, but
there is one in the collection submitted by Kenneth Cross. The copy I have
is pretty good except for a space in the middle of words throughout. As I
do not remember who submitted my copy, I will hold until I find out what to
do.

Thanks,

Sue S.
