That had occurred to me, but the comments for the book I just validated said
that they had spell checked it. Perhaps they used a different spell checker
even though they had ranked spelling available.

I use rank spelling all the time on books where the person scanning the
book clearly had it available to them. Apparently many submitters do not
use it as often as they could.
