I remember Gustavo very fondly. I met him at the ACB convention..I believe
that it was my very first one in 2002.
If I remember correctly, he, Shelly, Pratik, and I along with a few others
that I don't quite remember all went out for Greek food. I had stuffed
grape leaves and I think he laughed at the horrid face I made when I bit in
to one.
He was very nice and I was certain to say a prayer for him today.

I'm just now looking at over 100 emails today from the list. I had to flat
out delete whole topics. I hope I didn't miss topic changes or stuff
unrelated to the subject lines in the process.
I have had a Jewish yahrtzeit candle burning for Gustavo today. I still miss
him intensely and still can't bring myself to remove him from my email
address book. We had a personal relationship that was full of wickedly
humorous jokes and puns. His death is a loss to all whom he touched.
Gustavo Bob, I miss you fiercely.

Dear Anne, Liz and List,
Today is the anniversary of Gustavo's Death. Although I didn't know him
well, I always looked forward to his e-mails regarding updates on the site.
In 2006 I wrote a news article about bookshare and Gustavo helped me do
research for it. Even though I never met him in person, I feel honored to
have known him and that he has contributed to the site in such a wonderful
way.
