It did the last time. After you said to take out the publisher, it went through 
but don't know if the bug is fixed or not.

    Hi gang,

    Good news! It looks like Engineering has fixed the problem, where books 
would fail if the author's first name is an initial. You can now submit books 
without having to smush the initials together. 
    The bad news is that the bug has moved to the publisher field. If you try 
to submit a book and it fails, please remove anything in the publisher field in 
the metadata and try again. Yes, Engineering is aware of this bug and is 
working on a solution.
