Thank you much Monica, I'll check it out right now. I hear it is a great voice from those using pocket pc/smartphones, and now it is my turn to hear what they've been ranting and raving about! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Monica Willyard" <rhyami@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi Chela. I changed the subject line in case others want to find this post
in the future. The Heather voice can be bought, though I don't remember
where at the moment. I think it's sold by a company called Nuance. You can
download it free for the VictorSoft or Don Johnston products on the
Bookshare site. That version doesn't work in JAWS though, just for Bookshare
programs. I think it's really cool that Bookshare provides such a
high-quality voice for us. As for using it in other programs, I know it's
sold for Text Aloud at http://www.nextup.com There's also a link on that
site to buy it as a stand-alone sapi voice that would work with JAWS or
other screenreaders.
