Hi, Lisa. I'm not a moderator, but I don't see why your friends couldn't join,
even though they're not yet volunteering, because they do have an interest in
volunteering. Joining this list will give them a better idea of what might be
expected of them when they do begin volunteering, and I don't think anyone
should have a problem with that. Take care.

Hi, to the moderators or anyone else who might know,
I have a couple of friends that are interested in joining bookshare and/or
possibly volunteering. Does a person have to be a registered member of Book
and signed up as a volunteer to join this list? I noticed that the other two
Bookshare lists on Freelists are available to anyone, so I just wanted to check
on this one.
