Guido,
Is this file for us to read, or can it only be installed? I have just
enough computer knowledge to be dangerous, and didn't realize I couldn't look
at your attachment, until my system gave me a warning when I tried to open the
file.

I am attaching here my default settings file for Kurzweil 9.02. It assumes
you are scanning a paperback and your scanner is Epson. You may need to tweak
it slightly for your use:
