If all the other suggestions do not work, try the following. Otherwise, tell me what did work.
It's your
index.dat
file that's gotten screwed up.
You'll have to delete Cookies. If that doesn't work and it might not, the index.dat has to go, too.
Then, Every place will ask you for a password. You will have the chance to not have it save passwords for you at that time and I'd make sure I did that.
You'll have to remember them from then on, but, at least this won't happen in the future.

No I haven't tried that but it's worth a try although as I say, i've been doing this with the same password for a couple years and had no trouble before. Thanks for the reply though, I'll try anything to try to get it to work.
