I had this happen last year and it seems my computer was keeping
characters so I may have been typing in seven to eight characters but
the password line was showing more. Press forward and then back deletes
a few times and try the password again.

Hi Bud,
This is simplistic and you've probably already tried it, but have you
tried
copying the password directly from the message you got from Bookshare
when
you asked it for your password and pasting that directly into the
Bookshare
password edit? It probably won't work, but it's something I would try if
this frustrating circumstance happened to me. I wish I had more
ideas--maybe
some of the tech savvier list members will have more to offer.
