Thanks Cindy,

I'll see if I can figure out what to do. About all I've ever done is to scan and improve a book and upload it. I'm afraid I don't know much about page one etc. This copy I have is not a validated one, it's just in a folder with all the other books that I've uploaded. If I were to send this that you sent to Kerry, how would I do it? You'd think I' would know more about the overall operation since I've been doing this for several years now. Not to be whining and complaining but my old 86 year old brain doesn't comprehend things like it used to and it's hard to learn new things and keep them in my head. I guess I have often deleted that title page thinking it's already mentioned several times in the first few pages. I'll be more careful after this. Thanks for your info.

Bud,

What you put below is the copyright page, not the
title page.

Fortunately B&N allows us to look inside the book and
it had the title page, though Amazon did not.

Copy what I've written below, add it to your validated
copy in front of the copyright page--maybe with a
blank page between, because there usually is one, and
reupload your file. If the book isn't on your upload
page, see if it's on page one and if so download that
copy and trash it. If none of that works, send the
title page to Carrie and see if she can insert it into
the file.

For the future, the title page is a page that has the
title, author and in some cases like this book, a
subtitle.
