Well, I sent the letter to him directly, as well as
posting on these two lists. If he hit Reply to All, it
 might just have come to me, who sent it. I'm not
clear how those things work, but I think I did the
same thing with a private letter, expecting my reply
to go to everyone to whom the original had been sent,
but it only went to the person who had sent the
original.
