I suspect that those either were submitted and/or validated before the quality 
requirement improved or were done by people not on this list. It seems to me 
from what I'm hearing that everyone now on this list is reading and doing a 
careful job--or at least, if not, submitters who don't have the time or 
inclination to read a particular book ask for someone who does to validate. 
Maybe all volunteers should be required to be on this list. 

Or, there supposedly is to be a newsletter coming out. Hopefully that will 
emphasize that quality now is paramount. Plus, as E pointed out to me long ago, 
validators should not be loathe to reject books that they feel are too much 
trouble to validate to the Excellent standard--remembering that now you get the 
same $2.50 as submitters, so one ought to be more willing to perfect books than 
before, when it was only 50 cents.
