Hi Jean,

I always put a broken footnote together on the page where it starts. We've
always been given a bit of wiggle room when it comes to putting together a
bit of text broken up by a photo caption, etc. and I see no difference
between a split footnote and a word split between two pages.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Footnotes continued on next page

Everyone:

How should I handle a footnote that continues onto the next page? Do I add
"footnote continued" or some other language on the 2nd page? I've looked in
the proofreading guide but can't find much on what to do with footnotes.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jean
