Well, I don't know what the manual says, but when I get that kind of thing I
merge the second part of the footnote into the first part.

How should I handle a footnote that continues onto the next page? Do I add
"footnote continued" or some other language on the 2nd page? I've looked in
the proofreading guide but can't find much on what to do with footnotes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
