Hi, Roger, I did use the built-in cleaner to clean my local drive and I
defragged it. This did no good with regard to me entering Check Out a Book
or My Checked out Books. I sent the file to Rob Turner as a zip file and he
checked it in for me because I hadn't tried using FireFox. Regards, Kim
Friedman.

I take it that this means that your problem in submitting a proofed book has
been resolved? Whether it has or not I might ppoint out something. I
recently discovered that I have been accidentally saving every single zipped
file I download in some obscure part of my hard drive and that explains why
my own computer has been running so slow. Someone from another list
recommended that I do a disk clean-up and I did that yesterday, but had to
leave the house before I could check to see if it worked. I will do that
when I get through the email that was waiting for me. My point, though, is
that Windows has its own disk cleaner utility and someone on this list
recommended C-cleaner to you. I thought you might want to try the built in
disk cleaner first.
