Thanks everyone for your comments so far. I used to put a space on each side
of the ellipsis when it occurred in the middle of a sentence, but then I found
the other instruction in the manual and became uncertain. I'm going back to my
old method, especially because it is necessary for braille.

That's exactly the way I do it because it looks awful in braille if done any
