Hi. I understand that. It's just a personal preference of mine to be able to validate it myself to save someone the trouble of having to do it, and I can't do that if I can't look at the files. I try to do a thorough job of things if I'm going to do it at all. *smile* Take care. If you reject the second copy, the first copy would eventually be rejected by someone trying to validate it, and noticing that it is incomplete. I didn't want to download it, because I can't verify if one is better than the other, or if they're even complete. I know there was an issue before where someone downloaded parts of books in separate files, and I'd have no way to know if this was the case. That's why I'd rather someone who can look at the files download them. Take care. Even if you don't have a supporting program for the file type, You don't need to look at the file. Here are the steps to follow. 1. download the file and become the editor on record. 2. go to step two page for upload. 3. go to the "reject" button and hit it. 4. On the resulting page, check "other" in the reasons for rejection. 5. In the comments field, indicate why you're rejecting this copy--namely that there were duplicates on the validation page. This will help all of us. Periodically, I go through the entire list of submissions on the validation page and reject duplicates should there be any. Thanks. They're in ARK format, or I'd download them myself, but I wouldn't want them both to be approved and have duplicates. Just thought I'd let anyone know.
