That is how I do it.
BTW, I am melissa and I just joined the list, and just became a
volunteer for bookshare.

Mine is the same way, Cindy. But after I unpack, I see the file name,
and I
can tab past save, cancel, and then I see desktop, but if I press the
down
arrow key I can see other choices of where to put the file. Use the
down
and up arrows to choose where you want the file. Then shift+tab back to

save and it will go there. I don't mind if it wants to unpack my file
first. (smile)

See, none of this is happening for me.

Hi, When downloading a book from Bookshare, you are first given a
choice
of open or save. If you choose save you are asked for your password
and a
location to save. You must then unpack the book from there. If you
choose
open you are asked for your password and then for the folder where you
wish
to store the book. .
You are asked if you want to open the book now and I say no. you are
then
asked if you want to unpack another book and again I say no.
This is the method I prefer since I can save as mystery, non
fiction,
horror, etc.
Using this method the book is automatically unpacked and stored in the
folder you want.
