People often read romances for the general story and not necessarily for
the specifics. Hence, if the book is scanned good enough that the
individual gets the point of the plot, they may be satisfied.
These books may not necessarily be of high enough quality for the
BookShare collection, but the individual scanning them might find them
more than adequate for their personal needs.
Of course, each individual has a different level of tollerance for such
things.
My sighted wife reads a romance within an hour or 2; so she certainly
doesn't read each word.
These books are story books; and that's it.
