Hi, Cindy Lou.
I just went online with my local library and they have a
copy of DON'T BET AGAINST ME by Deanna Favre
about beating breast cancer. Is that the one you're
talking about? If so, let me know and I'll go pull that
puppy right off of Step 1, go to the library and pick up
a hard copy (I am sighted) and we'll be adding the
book to the collection fairly soon.

Someone had requested this book. It languishes on Step 1. Here is what
Carrie says about the book:
Every 5-10 pages, there's an inset of italicized text next to the main
text. The OCR program has run them together, so the pieces of text are
intermingled.
My suggestion is to remove the italicized text. Rescanning won't help
in this case. I'd recommend a sighted person fix this book.
I would love to do it, but I suspect I cannot fix the problems with
it.
