It's probably spelled C e l e s t e Celeste Screen readers don't pronounce
it correctly.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Dog Bakery book

I'm looking forward to the doggie cookbook, too..I think Popeye and
Blackberry will be gladdest of all when they taste the treats.

Yesterday my 2 babies got out of my back yard while I was raking leaves. For
2 hours I walked a grid with my cane, my heart full of fear that they'd be
hurt and my newly stitched arm throbbing. It was getting dark and I was on a
corner realizing I'd lost track of where I was and trying to be sensible and
not to panic when a ladywith her dog approached. Her name was Cil est. Does
anyone know how to spell it? She was home early from work and said her dog
insisted on answering my call, though my own two run aways either didn't
hear me or were ignoring me.

We walked and called for about 5 minutes when she told me to keep calling
and wait while she put her sweet dog in her house and came back in her car.
Within 10 minutes she spotted them, got out of the car, caught Blackberry
and brought her to me. Popeye followed without a leash. They stank of
sewage, and I held them on my lap to spare her car from being tainted by
their awful smell.

When we got home, I tried to pay her, but she told me she was very glad to
see my dogs safely home. While we were searching I learned she didn't know
cell est was the musical instrument with beautiful bell like tones. I asked
for her address promising to drop off a classical CD featuring her musical
name sake. She was intrigued and I was glad to have found a way to show my
appreciation. Last night, me and the dogs had baths. After they had supper I
iced my arm and we went to bed.

Today I mostly recuperated, and in the evening I couldn't resist doing some
validating and catching up with this list.
What perfect timing to learn a book of dog treat recipes ,
will soon be in the Bookshare collection. Now I can bring a CD for Celeste,
and home made treats with the recipe for her dog, Nikko, who insisted that
she answer my call.

By the way, I have a 7 foot privacy fence and the gate was double latched,
but Blackberry is a determined escape artist. I should have also blocked it
with a heavy stone, but yesterday I didn't want to lift it. I'm lucky to be
able to mend my ways with no harm done to my pets. I'll put that stone in
place next time I'm working outside the fence.

I'll let you know which recipe or recipes I try.

Always with Love,

Lissi
