Dear Lissi,

Celeste, both the instrument and the name, is usually
spelle C e l e s t e. It sounds heavenly, doesn't it.
I no longer have the dictinary that gave meanings for
names, but I wonder if it does mean heaven or
something like that.

May I ask what was wrong with your arm? When you went
to the hospital for your operation and afterward, when
you said you were relieved that it wasn't the thing
you were worried about, I thought perhaps it would be
rude to ask you, but now that you've mentioned
stitches ... Maybe I'm still being rude--my husband
catigates me for asking personal questions and I try
to restrain myself, but I do care about people and ask
for that reason rather than out or mere curiosity.

I'm assuming that your two dogs are not guide dogs? Am
I wrong in assuming that guide dogs wouldn't dash off
like that? Apparently they did have a good time,
rolling in whatever smelly stuff they found, but it
wasn't very nice of them to worry you like that
(smile). I assume that, as with children, you were
probably so relieved to get them back safe and sound
that you didn't punish them by grounding them
(smile)--but maybe the bath was punishment enough
(smile).

I hope your arm is better soon. I admire you for
raking with it. I probably would have used it as an
excuse not to do anything more physical than validate.
(smile)

Cindy
