Thanks for writing for clarification -- here's an example:

<Photo caption: The author outside his childhood home, 1978>

The keystroke used for the angle brackets are the shift key with the comma key 
for the open bracket 
And the shift key with the period key for the close bracket.

inside or outside the
angle brackets?  Could you show me a small sample?
