Dog ownership is like a rainbow.
Puppies are the joy at one end.
Old dogs are the treasure at the other.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Daddy Makes the Best Spaghetti

I have just submitted Daddy Makes the Best Spaghetti
by Anna Grossnickle Hines. Here is the description:

As soon as Daddy picks Corey up from the day-care
center the fun begins! Corey gets to push the cart in
the grocery store, set the table at home, and he even
helps cook the spaghetti. After dinner, Mommy lets him
make bubble mountains while he helps her with the
dishes.

Then it happens. A mysterious figure wearing a shower
cap and bath towel darts into the kitchen. "Ta da! Ta
daaaa!.it's Bathman!" Daddy swoops Corey up into the
air and flies him into the tub. He makes the boats go
so fast, they splash. He even turns into a silly dog
with pajama legs for ears.

In this sparkling picture book, Anna Grossnickle Hines
depicts family life at its best, as everyday routines
are transformed into joyful games.
