Prior notice (say 2-3 days, maybe a week) would be better notice than "right
now". I didn't even get my email until 7:30AM the next day and it was too

Hi everyone. Would you like to meet your fellow volunteers and talk about
volunteering and your favorite books or authors? Do you have a question
about working on books or finding a good scanner? If so, please join us
right now for a voice chat at http://www.blindcooltech.com/chat.htm . We'll
be in the room until around 3:00 PM Eastern, midnight Pacific. The software
is a simple plug-in for your web browser that's easy to install and use with
a screenreader. Once you enter the chat, you just press the control key and
listen for a beep to begin talking. If you have no microphone, you can send
text to the group as well.
There are already many volunteers in the chat, and we'd love to have you
join us. (smile) New volunteers and Bookshare members are very welcome.
