Hi Lynnsky! I think of how NLS lists pages. In the front where they tell how many pages a volume has, they list i-xii and 1-208, just as an example. So that would indicate that preliminary pages are not counted as core text. So the page count, according to that, would start at the beginning of the core text. I'd appreciate a clarification on whether preliminary pages count as part of the page numbering in a book. I assumed they did count. However, a book I proofread was returned for further editing; and when I uploaded it, after the editing, I noticed that the page count reflected only the text pages and not the preliminary pages. Can someone please clarify this for me? Thank you. Blessings. Lynn I -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
