I was given the same admonishment and before that I was unaware of the problem. I let JAWS read emails in continuous read mode and it does not pause or otherwise indicate blank lines, so such dividers make no difference anyway. In the case of Chela's signature quote I am so used to it now that when I hear it I am simply signaled that the message is over. I suppose the sender's name would serve the same purpose. I think the lack of somekind of divider is probably most distracting to a sighted reader. In any case, I am not sure that it serves a purpose for me to say these things. Right now I am kind of thinking with my keyboard.

Hi Chela. I'm not annoyed by the content of your quote. It expresses what
matters to you most. However, it would really help me out if you would put
your name first and then your quote. Sometimes I get confused about when
your message ends and your quote begins because your quote sounds like a new paragraph that's part of your message. Having your name first would help me clearly tell when your message is finished. It would be like putting a short
bridge into a song when the rhythm is changing.

So just for my curiosity, how many people are annoyed with my trumpet quote?
