I am releasing this book back to the step 1 page. It seems to have extra
line of endings of some kind which I cannot purge. Perhaps the person who
submitted it knows what is happening here.

Hey Jamal.
Can you tell us where you might go to get Notetab Lite?

Hi Dave, I was only using NoteTab Pro before, but your message prompted me to install NoteTab Lite as well (apparently, the Lite, Standard, and Pro versions use different subdirectories and can co-exist). I've read the NoteTab documentation thoroughly (one set for all versions, ), and did not recall such a feature limitation in the Lite version.
I just tried searching for a form feed character using the ^b token with the Lite version, and was successful. Is it possible that your checkbox for a regular expression-type search is inadvertently turned on, or the direction of search is currently set to up rather than down?
Regards, Jamal

Hi Jamal,
Unfortunately, no joy there. The lite version doesn't want to accept any of the control key sequences in the search field.
