That is bad if the italics cause trouble in the braille file, because
removing them is not okay. Sometimes bold and italisised words are very
important to know about and it is wrong to deprive someone of that
information just because it annoys you. I'm not saying that it is
processed correctly, which should make it easy enough to read in braille,
but if that is the case the system should be worked on instead of telling
validators that they should remove that information. I'm certainly not
going to because either I don't know that things are bold or italisized
because I don't have my software set to tell me about it, or I do have it
set to tell me about it and that is because I found that knowing was useful
in that particular book and therefore might be useful to someone else.
