That's what Jaws does while I'm reading a book. However, when I read this one, it will say Section 6 field 6 or something weird like that. There is also a word in a paragraph that is unidentified. I can't figure out what the word is supposed to be. I can send you the paragraph with the word in it. I'm unsure if this is how its supposed to read. I've never had a book read this way, since I've been proofing, so I want to make sure that its supposed to read that way. Ah well, I released it, so if Robert wants to take a crack at it, he can. I believe I stil have it saved on my computer, if you want me to send you the paragraph I was telling you about. _____ From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Christina Sent: Friday, January 14, 2011 7:50 AM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Cast In Shadows Hi, Ann. What is strange about the page numbering? Carrie does very good scans and she did this book for me so I don't have the print copy here to use as a reference. Sometimes the first page of the story is page 10 or something or, if you're using JAWS (don't know about other screen readers), but JAWS will announce the page of the actual document and then read the page number. So, if you're on the twentieth page of the document but on page ten of the story, it might say "Page 20, 10." Does this help or is there another numbering issue? Thanks for looking at the book either way. *Smile* Christina ----- Original Message ----- From: Ann Petrous <mailto:annpetrous@xxxxxxxxx> To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2011 11:12 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Cast In Shadows Hey Robert, Your more than welcome to proof read this book. I can't figure out the page numbering, and there is a word in one of the paragraphs, that I can't figure out what its supposed to be. Since you have been doing this for a while, I'm giving this book over to you. I'm going to release it now, so you can check it out. Or it might need to be rescanned. Ann
