Smile. Well, I can understand it in this day and age. Who knows what group
might stroll in and cause trouble. I just had to get used to the idea.
Sorry.

Anyone can get into the hotels.
But unless you have a CSUN badge, you won't be able to get into a seminar
room or on the exhibit floor where the Bookshare booth is.
Not my rule, not my choice. Only reporting CSUN policy.

But Guido, Cindy is a faithful volunteer. Do you mean to say she can't just
drop by and visit??

I will be at CSUN starting Tuesday 15th, but show floor exhibits will not
be open to the general public until Saturday morning. Access to exhibits on
previous days may require a full registration fee.

Cindy,

Monday and Tuesday are usually reserved for preconference activities and not
too many people attend. Most people--especially vendors--either arrive
Tuesday night or Wednesday morning in time to setup for the exhibit opening
during Wednesday night. You won't find many of us around if you plan to
arrive on Tuesday. We'd love to meet you, if you can drop by on another
day. The conference proper doesn't begin until Wednesday morning after the
keynote.

We do take lunch breaks.

charge for visitors to come in for a little while? Do
you all take a lunch break or do you just go out for
supper and have a rousing good time?
