Yes, now that you mention it, I think you are right and it was
Jesse. Sorry Jesse for attributing the effort to the wrong
person. Perhaps I will concede the day as well, I thought I had remembered
that it came out on Bookshare at around 4 P.M. after its midnight
release. In any event it certainly was timely.
Regarding the Web Braille issue, I still don't buy the 6 to 8 months. I
don't remember the publishing date, aside from that it was released in
2003, but looking at the file date of the one I downloaded from them it
reflects a May 7, 2003 date, and I didn't get it immediately as I had
already read the Bookshare version.

Hi. I think Jesse did the actual scan and it was out the day after
publication in print. It was released on Friday and they had it on
Saturday. I started reading it on Sunday and it took me about a week to
finish. I don't know the exact date they got it on Web-Braille but I
believe that it was the January-February _Braille Book Review_ which
mentioned them having it. That is at least six months. I think it might
have even been March. Anyway, it was six to eight months after official
publication.
