Dear Diana and Booksharians,I have been taking Hadley courses for over one quarter century(completing about a dozen courses) and have been a volunteer with Bookshare for about a year now. I am so delighted to see two entities, online/virtual/whatever, workng together for the benefit of so many!
Warmest regards, Cat Lover Lori----- Original Message ----- From: "Dianna Messina" <Messina@xxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Everybody or is it Everyone? (Just kidding) Ann, your message was received loud and clear. This is Dianna from Hadley and I do apologize for the "virtual" reference in the press release. I myself refer to Bookshare as an online library. We are new to Bookshare and still in the learning process, please forgive us and feel free to contact us with any corrections or suggestions. Thanks Dianna -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of siss52 Sent: Friday, March 28, 2008 12:11 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Bookshare Seminars@Hadley Hi Ann, I may be wrong, but is it really "whomever wrote"? Whoever sounds more natural to me. <smiling> Sue S.----- Original Message ----- From: "Ann Parsons" <akp@xxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 28, 2008 10:56 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Bookshare Seminars@Hadley Hi all, Hate to be picky, but I thought all the books I've validated were real, tangible, and actual texts. There ain't nothin' virtual about them. Sorry, folks, but whomever wrote this press release should be told that the word is online or etext or computer archive or computer library, but not virtual. We are *all* very much real and live human beings and the books we work on are just as real. Hurrumphing, Ann P. -- Ann K.
