Hi Shelley,

The other copy of Ben-Hur is 597 pages and is a public domain book. It's rated
excellent, but since it was added at the very beginning of Bookshare, I don't
know if it really is excellent or not. If it is, there's no sense in you
scanning it.

Just a suggestion, Carrie

I found the Ben Hur in the collection it is the novel adapted for teens and
is only 49 pages, so will scan the full version, which is a good 200 or more
pages.

The people who burned witches at the stake never for one moment thought of
their act as violence;
rather they thought of it as an act of divinely mandated righteousness.
The same can be said of most of the violence we humans have ever
committed. -Gil Bailie, author and lecturer (b. 1944)
