Hey you all, am curious, and have believed that I can't hold an opinion on
something if I don't know anything about it.

So... does anyone have a recommendation on any good books about Islam?
Particularly the rules, and decrees, traditions and the like.

Am curious, an accessible, English Koran (am I spelling that right, I don't
think I am) would be great if we don't have one, but am interested in all
resources you all can offer.

Thanks.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
